Our ’Quote of the Week’ comes from Jack Kyser, senior vice president of the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corp., who was quoted in a column by the executive editor of the Gazette, a publication in Long Beach, CA:

“What we are seeing is not a housing bubble, but bubble-ettes in specific areas of the Southland,” Kaiser said. “Long Beach is not a part of that, although a certain city to the north’s urban core likely is.”

For those accessing this site from beyond Los Angeles, the city to the north of Long Beach is none other than L.A., where they're building all those lofts downtown.
