Replacing Capitol Records With Condos?

LA Times has a story on the front page today about the possibility of turning the iconic Capitol Records building into condominiums.

It is odd that, at this point, so many developers still see value in condo projects downtown and elsewhere in LA. Surely they're looking at the same numbers we all are, and yet, they're finding it worth their while.
