Inman News reports:
The National Association of Real Estate Editors invites real estate, housing and design writers, editors and authors to join more than 250 journalists, broadcasters, bloggers and other real estate communicators to its 40th annual conference in Charlotte, N.C., April 26-29.

The conference early bird registration rate starting a $119 for full registration expires tomorrow. Media can register online at www.naree.org or by U.S. mail (NAREE must receive mailed registrations with payment by March 15 for this special rate.)

The event offers journalists news stories on midyear housing and mortgage forecasts, minimizing housing bubble trouble, selling real estate in cyberspace and home-building options post Katrina.

The event also will feature tours and panel discussions on what types of housing seniors are buying, cutting edge urban redesign, new magnets for high-rise condo development, and behind-the-scenes access to the world's most prominent furniture market.

In addition, workshops on podcasting, blogging and videoclipping will be offered.

Special rates are reserved for $119 per night at the Marriott City Center Hotel, Charlotte, N.C. Call the Marriott directly at 800-228-9290 and ask for the "NAREE Rate."
